Research misconduct in Value Management Research refers to fabrication, falsification, citation manipulation, or plagiarism in conducting, reviewing, or reporting research findings. The journal upholds high ethical standards to ensure the integrity and credibility of published research. If an author is found to have engaged in research misconduct or serious irregularities in published articles, the editorial board has the responsibility to investigate and take necessary actions.
In cases of suspected misconduct, the editorial team follows best practices established by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and Elsevier’s guidelines on research errors, falsification, and fabrication. Any submitted manuscript found to involve such misconduct will be rejected immediately. If misconduct is identified in a published paper, the journal will issue a retraction notice, which will be linked to the original article.
