Peer Review Process

Author Guidelines: Green Economics Review

All manuscripts submitted to Green Economics Review must comply with the Focus and Scope of the journal and adhere to the Author's Guide. The journal is dedicated to research on the theory, policies, tools, and metrics of the Green Economy, including topics related to sustainable resource management, social justice, and the impact of global trends. Submissions offering new contributions to the scientific development of Green Economics are highly encouraged.

Manuscript Requirements

  • Manuscripts must follow the writing format and style of scientific journals.
  • Authors must adhere to the Manual of Publications of the American Psychological Association (APA), 7th Edition for citations and references.
  • The use of reference management software, such as Mendeley or Zotero, is recommended, with settings aligned to APA 7th Edition.
  • Manuscripts may be written in English or Indonesian, but all submissions must demonstrate proper grammar and linguistic accuracy. If an Indonesian manuscript is accepted, translation into English and professional proofreading will be required before publication.

Originality and Plagiarism Check

  • Authors must confirm that their manuscript has not been published or submitted for publication elsewhere.
  • To verify originality, all manuscripts will be checked using plagiarism detection software. Authors are advised to use Turnitin™ or iThenticate™ for pre-submission similarity checks.
  • The editorial team will also conduct similarity checks, with a maximum similarity threshold of 15% (Turnitin™ output).

Review Process

  • The journal employs a double-blind peer review process, ensuring anonymity for both authors and reviewers.
  • Initial evaluations will be conducted by the Chief Editor to determine the manuscript's suitability for the journal.
  • Suitable manuscripts will be sent to at least two independent expert reviewers for assessment of scientific quality. If necessary, a third reviewer will be consulted for critical recommendations.
  • The final decision on manuscript acceptance or rejection rests with the Editor, whose decision is final.
