Publication Ethics

Green Economics Review is a peer-reviewed journal published biannually by Yayasan Al Ma’arif Dawuhan Indonesia. It is available both online as an open-access resource and in print. This statement outlines the ethical behavior expected of all parties involved in publishing in this journal, including authors, the editor-in-chief, the editorial board, reviewers, and the publisher. This ethical framework is based on COPE’s Best Practice Guidelines for Journal Editors.

The publication of an article in Green Economics Review is an essential contribution to building a coherent and respected body of knowledge in the field of Green Economy. It reflects the quality of the authors' work and their supporting institutions. Peer-reviewed articles embody the scientific method and uphold ethical standards. The publisher of Green Economics Review is committed to ensuring that all stages of the publishing process are handled ethically and responsibly. Commercial interests, including advertising or reprint revenue, will not influence editorial decisions.


Publication Decisions

The editor of Green Economics Review is responsible for selecting articles that align with the journal’s focus and meet its academic standards. Decisions are based on the manuscript’s validity, originality, and relevance to researchers and readers. The editor may consider advice from reviewers and other editors but will also adhere to legal and ethical standards, such as copyright and plagiarism policies.


Fair Play

The editor evaluates submitted manuscripts solely on their intellectual merit, without discrimination based on race, gender, sexual orientation, religious belief, ethnicity, citizenship, or political philosophy.


Confidentiality

Duties of Reviewers

Contribution to Editorial Decisions

Peer review aids the editor in making decisions and, through constructive feedback, helps authors improve their manuscripts.

Promptness

Reviewers who feel unqualified or unable to review a manuscript promptly should notify the editor and withdraw from the process.

Confidentiality

Manuscripts received for review must be treated as confidential and not shared or discussed without the editor’s authorization.

Standards of Objectivity

Reviews must be objective and free from personal criticism. Comments should be clear and supported by evidence.

Acknowledgment of Sources

Reviewers should identify relevant works that have not been cited by the authors and notify the editor of any significant similarity between the manuscript and other published work.

Disclosure and Conflicts of Interest

Reviewers must not use privileged information for personal advantage. They should decline to review manuscripts where conflicts of interest may exist.


Duties of Authors

Reporting Standards

Authors must present accurate and detailed accounts of their research, providing sufficient data to allow replication. Fraudulent or inaccurate statements are unethical and unacceptable.

Originality and Plagiarism

Authors must ensure their work is original and appropriately cite or quote the work of others.

Multiple, Redundant, or Concurrent Publication

Authors should not submit the same manuscript to multiple journals simultaneously or publish redundant research in separate publications.

Authors must properly acknowledge the works of others that influenced their study.

Authorship

Fundamental Errors in Published Works
