Copyright Policy

Authors who submit their work to Journal of Islamic Entrepreneurship and Business Research (JIEBR) retain copyright over their articles. However, by submitting and publishing in JIEBR, authors grant the journal a non-exclusive license to publish, distribute, and archive their work. This means:

  • Authors retain the rights to use their articles for academic and professional purposes, including in books, institutional repositories, and personal websites, with proper citation to the original publication in JIEBR.
  • Authors may distribute copies of their articles under the same licensing terms as agreed upon with the journal.
  • JIEBR has the right to reproduce, display, and distribute the work in any format (print or electronic) to promote wider dissemination of research.

Licensing Policy

All articles published in JIEBR are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike (CC BY-SA) 4.0 International License. This allows:

  • Sharing (Copying and Redistributing): Anyone can share, copy, and redistribute the material in any medium or format.
  • Adaptation (Remixing, Transforming, and Building Upon the Work): Anyone can modify the work for any purpose, even commercially, as long as they credit the original author(s) and maintain the same license for derivative works.

Terms of Use

  • Proper attribution must be given to the original work, including the name of the author(s), title of the article, and a link to the license.
  • Any adaptations or modifications of the work must be shared under the same CC BY-SA 4.0 license.
  • Authors and users are encouraged to acknowledge JIEBR as the original source when distributing or citing the work.
