Reference Manager

To ensure proper citation formatting and consistency, Journal of Islamic Entrepreneurship and Business Research (JIEBR) strongly encourages authors to use reference management software when preparing their manuscripts.

1. Recommended Reference Management Tools

Authors are advised to use one of the following reference management tools to format their citations and bibliographies correctly:

  • Zotero (Free and open-source)
  • Mendeley (Free with premium options)
  • EndNote (Subscription-based)
  • RefWorks (Subscription-based)

2. Citation and Referencing Style

  • The journal follows the American Psychological Association (APA) 7th edition referencing style.
  • In-text citations should be formatted as (Author, Year) or Author (Year).
  • The reference list should be arranged alphabetically and include all cited works.

3. Guidelines for Using Reference Managers

  • Authors should insert citations automatically using reference manager tools rather than manually typing them.
  • Ensure that all references included in the manuscript are accurate and correctly formatted before submission.
  • Authors should use the "Check for Duplicates" feature in their reference managers to avoid redundancy in citations.
  • Before submission, authors should export the references in the required format and verify their correctness.

By adhering to these guidelines, authors contribute to the accuracy, clarity, and professionalism of the journal’s publications.
