Focus and Scope

Multidisciplinary Journal of Contemporary Islamic Discourse (MJCID) is a double-blind peer-reviewed academic journal published by the Al Ma'arif Dawuhan Indonesia Foundation. The journal is dedicated to advancing rigorous and critical scholarship on contemporary Islamic discourse across diverse intellectual, social, political, economic, legal, cultural, and global contexts. It serves as a platform for scholars, researchers, and practitioners to present original and analytical contributions addressing both contemporary and classical issues in Islam through interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary perspectives.

MJCID welcomes high-quality research articles that examine Islamic thought and Muslim societies using theoretically grounded, methodologically sound, and analytically innovative approaches.
