Open Access Policy

Multidisciplinary Journal of Contemporary Islamic Discourse (MJCID) provides immediate open access to all of its published content, based on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a broader and more equitable global exchange of knowledge. The journal is committed to removing financial, legal, and technical barriers to scholarly communication in order to enhance academic visibility and impact.

This means that:

  • All articles are freely available to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, and link to immediately upon publication.
  • There are no subscription fees or paywall barriers for readers.
  • Authors are not charged any article processing charges (APCs) or submission fees. Submission, review, and publication are completely free of charge.
  • The journal adheres to the principles of the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI) and supports the unrestricted dissemination of peer-reviewed scholarly research.

All published content is distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0).

Under this license, users are permitted to:

  • Share — copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format.
  • Adapt — remix, transform, and build upon the material for any purpose, including commercial use.

These permissions are granted provided that appropriate credit is given to the author(s) and the journal, a link to the license is included, and any modifications are clearly indicated. Attribution must not imply endorsement by the authors or the journal.

By supporting an open access publishing model, MJCID aims to promote academic transparency, foster global scholarly collaboration, and ensure the widest possible dissemination of multidisciplinary research on contemporary Islamic discourse within the international academic community.
