Multidisciplinary Journal of Contemporary Islamic Discourse (MJCID) is an open-access academic journal operating under a non-profit publishing model. The journal is committed to financial transparency and ensures that its sources of funding do not influence editorial independence, peer review decisions, or publication ethics.

The journal’s operational and administrative costs may be supported through the following sources:

  • Institutional funding or financial support from the publishing foundation or affiliated academic institution.
  • Research grants or academic funding from governmental or non-governmental bodies, where applicable.
  • Voluntary contributions, sponsorships, or partnerships that align with academic integrity and do not interfere with editorial decision-making.
  • No Article Processing Charges (APCs) are currently required. Submission, peer review, and publication in MJCID are free of charge for authors.

All funding sources are managed transparently. The journal guarantees that financial support does not affect the objectivity of the editorial process or the integrity of published content.

Advertising Policy
Multidisciplinary Journal of Contemporary Islamic Discourse (MJCID) does not accept or display paid advertisements on its website, journal platform, or published articles. The journal maintains strict academic independence and avoids commercial or promotional influences that could compromise scholarly neutrality, credibility, or editorial standards.

If, in the future, advertising is considered, it will be clearly distinguished from editorial content, and such advertising will not influence editorial decisions.

Direct Marketing Policy
MJCID may conduct direct marketing activities solely for academic and scholarly purposes, including the promotion of published articles, calls for papers, special issues, or journal announcements.

  • Email newsletters distributed to registered users or subscribers.
  • Announcements through academic mailing lists and professional networks.
  • Updates shared through official social media platforms.
  • Distribution of promotional materials at academic conferences, seminars, or scholarly events.

All marketing communications are conducted ethically, professionally, and transparently. Recipients are provided with the option to unsubscribe from communications at any time.

The journal strictly does not sell, share, or distribute personal data to third parties for commercial or marketing purposes. All personal data are handled in accordance with applicable data protection regulations and ethical publishing standards.
