Multidisciplinary Journal of Contemporary Islamic Discourse (MJCID) is a double-blind peer-reviewed academic journal published by the Al Ma'arif Dawuhan Indonesia Foundation. The journal is dedicated to advancing rigorous and critical scholarship on contemporary Islamic discourse across diverse intellectual, social, political, economic, legal, cultural, and global contexts. It welcomes original research articles that examine Islamic thought and Muslim societies through multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary approaches, including but not limited to Islamic history and historiography, political studies, Islamic economics and finance, anthropology and sociology of Islam, Islamic law and legal reform, philosophy, religious studies, cultural and literary studies, environmental issues, and development studies within the Muslim world.

Multidisciplinary Journal of Contemporary Islamic Discourse (MJCID) seeks to position contemporary Islamic discourse at the center of global academic conversations by encouraging theoretically grounded, methodologically sound, and analytically innovative research. The journal promotes cross-national and comparative perspectives, fosters critical engagement with Islamic intellectual traditions in modern contexts, and supports scholarly dialogue among researchers from diverse academic backgrounds. Through the dissemination and exchange of high-quality research, the journal aspires to contribute meaningfully to the development of multidisciplinary Islamic studies and to the broader understanding of Islam in contemporary global society.
