Open Access Policy

Yaalmada: Journal of Research and Islamic Studies provides immediate open access to all of its published content, based on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

This means that:

  • All articles are freely available to read, download, and share from the moment of publication.

  • There are no subscription or paywall barriers.

  • Authors do not pay article processing charges (APCs) or submission fees.

  • The journal adheres to the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI) definition of open access.

All content is published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0), which permits users to:

  • Share — copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format.

  • Adapt — remix, transform, and build upon the material for any purpose, even commercially.

Users must give appropriate credit, provide a link to the license, and indicate if changes were made.

By supporting open access, Yaalmada aims to promote academic transparency, global collaboration, and wider dissemination of Islamic research and studies.
