Reference Manager Usage

To ensure consistency and accuracy in citations and references, Yaalmada: Journal of Research and Islamic Studiesrequires all authors to use a reference management software when preparing their manuscripts. Authors are strongly encouraged to use one of the following tools:

  • Zotero

  • Mendeley

  • EndNote

The journal adopts the APA (American Psychological Association) Style, 7th Edition for both in-text citations and reference lists. Authors must ensure that all references are correctly formatted according to this style guide.

Key Guidelines:

  • Use in-text citations for all references used, matching the entries in the reference list.

  • Include DOIs (Digital Object Identifiers) for all journal articles where available.

  • References must be recent, relevant, and preferably from reputable academic journals.

  • The reference list must be sorted alphabetically by the last name of the first author.

Authors must double-check all references before submission to avoid delays during the editorial process.
